NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- Emergency crews called off the search in a North Attleboro pond after a swimmer says he saw a body floating in the water on Saturday afternoon.
Around 11:00 p.m., divers determined there was no body in the water after an extensive seven-hour search.
Sonar equipment brought in to assist only revealed debris at the bottom of the pond. Police say no one has been reported missing.
Divers will be back at the scene again Sunday for a scheduled training exercise.
