WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- A Woonsocket mother won't be criminally charged for a hand gesture she made toward a teacher last December.
Vanice Armstrong allegedly pointed her fingers like a gun and pretended to shoot at a teacher looking out a window of Pothier Elementary School in Woonsocket. She was initially charged with disorderly conduct.
This incident took place just days after the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
A judge recently cleared Armstrong of all wrongdoing, saying her actions were inappropriate, but not criminal.
