NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI)- Coastal areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy were faced with another concern due to the approach of the November Nor'easter; beach erosion.
The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency monitored areas during the storm to make sure more damage wasn't done. Their emergency operations center was activated and will continue to watch the storm through Thursday morning.
"The coast has been impacted from Hurricane sandy. We don't know how this storm will affect the coast so we want to make sure we're here to provide coordination to the communities as needed", said Theresa Murray, Director of the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency.
