PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- A Utah man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison in connection with one of Rhode Island's biggest cocaine busts, which yielded 65 kilograms of the drug and over $1.2 million in cash.
The U.S. Attorney's office in Rhode Island said 31-year-old Adilson Reyes was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court. Reyes pleaded guilty in April 2011 to conspiracy to distribute more than 5 kilos of cocaine.
Two other men, both of California, already pleaded guilty in the case. Thirty-three-year-old Armando Saucedo was sentenced last week to 13 years in federal prison. Forty-two-year-old Andrew Rios is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
The men were arrested in January 2011. The drugs, cash and a weapon were seized from two vehicles and a North Kingstown storage facility.
