J.C. Linares blasted a walk-off two run homer in the bottom of the twelfth inning on Monday afternoon at McCoy, delivering the PawSox a 6-4 win over the Yankees on the final day of the 2012 regular season.

The Wild Card winners finish the regular season at 79-65.  Jon Hee and Andy LaRoche each had 2 RBI for Pawtucket.  Hee had three hits and Bryce Brentz notched his first two Triple A base hits.

Hee also pitched the top of the twelfth to earn the win.  It was his second mound appearance of the season.  Starter Steven Wright worked six solid innings, allowing an earned run.  Scott Atchison tossed a scoreless inning of relief as he began an M.L. rehab stint (strained forearm).

The two teams will enjoy Tuesday off before beginning their best of five, first round playoff series on Wednesday at McCoy at 7:05 p.m.
