(WPRI) - The PawSox wrapped up the 2010 season on a high note, taking the last game of the year from Syracuse, 4-3. 8011 were on hand to see Josh Reddick hit his 18th home run of the season.
Gil Velazquez and James Kang knocked in the other Pawtucket runs.
Ramon Ramirez (5-5) was the winner, working 5.2 innings, striking out 7 hitters. Fernando Cabrera picked up his 22d save with a scoreless ninth inning.
Jason Varitek completed his rehab assignment with Pawtucket, going 1-3. He should rejoin Boston for their series with Tampa. Early in the day, Lars Anderson earned a promotion to Boston.
The PawSox complete 2010 with a record of 66-78, in fourth place in the I.L. North Division.
