INDIANAPOLIS (WPRI) - Two Patriots fans from Rhode Island arrived in Indianapolis Friday, after making a vow to follow the team to the Super Bowl.

"We were fortunate enough to come to every game this year and we made a vow that if they went all the way, we were following them," explained Donald Cataldi of North Providence.

Eyewitness News went along with Cataldi and his friend John Hunt, a principal at Central High School in Providence, as they took in the sights and sounds of the Super Bowl Village Friday.

"We want to experience all the activities that are here, NFL Experience, NFL town that they have around the corner, and maybe the zipline if we don't have to wait in line too long," Hunt said.

The two Rhode Islanders said they felt fortunate to be able to experience a Super Bowl in person.

"I just want to take in everything, you know, it's a once in a life time experience," Cataldi said.  "I wish everybody could experience this, the excitement, it's so electrifying down here it's incredible."
