CLEVELAND, Ohio (CNN) - It is the season of giving. Many people are donating to charities like the Red Cross or the United Way. One man in Sandusky decided he wanted to donate to Taco Bell.

Taco Bell employees were a little baffled when a man walked into a Taco Bell, ordered a 99 cent taco, then left $72 on the counter.

"I don't need it, so I want to pass it along," said the Good Samaritan.

The Taco Bell employees said the man appeared to be intoxicated and they worried he may come back to the next day and want his money, so they called the Perkins Township Police, located right across the street.

"Often when somebody is under the influence, some of the things they do never ceases to amaze me," said police chief Ken Klamar.

Taco Bell employees said the man was very friendly. They just wish they could have fed him a little more because at Taco Bell, $72 can go a long way.

Police said if the money is not claimed by anyone within 30 days, it will be returned right here to the Taco Bell and they can do whatever they want with it.
