Danielle North co-anchors Eyewitness News this Morning on WPRI and Fox Providence every weekday and is also the co-host of The Rhode Show on Fox Providence and Eyewitness News at Noon. She is thrilled to be waking up Southern New England every morning alongside co-anchor Patrick Little and Meteorologist Michelle Muscatello.
When she's not in studio you can probably find Danielle running around all over the West Bay with her three young children or husband.
Danielle is proud to be the host of the Autism Project of RI Walk every spring and is involved in other charity events with this very important and much-needed organization. Danielle also enjoys being part of her children's school and other education-based events across Rhode Island.
Danielle has been with Eyewitness News since making the trek south from New Hampshire back in 1999. She has covered many of the big stories in New England over the years, including several presidential primaries dating back to 1996. Her personal favorite was reporting from the red carpet in LA for the very first season of Survivor when a Rhode Islander took home the big prize — and it was announced live!
She began her journalism career at WVNY-TV in Burlington, Vermont and also worked for WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire. In fact, she worked with Patrick Little before he also made the move to Lil' Rhody.
Danielle also anchored Eyewitness News This Morning on WPRI 12 on the weekend with Pete Mangione for the past three years.
Danielle is a proud graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont and resides in the West Bay with her husband and three children.
