WRENTHAM, Mass. (WPRI) - A Brockton man wanted in connection with a shooting was found dead inside a Wrentham motel room early Friday morning.

WCVB reports police swarmed the Arbor Inn to question Christopher Bean, 34.

After several attempts to talk to Bean, police officers entered his room just before 1:30 a.m. on Friday.

Officials found Bean's body, a firearm, and one spent shell casing inside the room.

Bean reportedly called a friend "to say goodbye" when he heard police.
