TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) - A local man is due in court for an arraignment hearing Thursday, facing murder charges.

Richard Carreiro-Forbes, 29, is accused of killing a Taunton man in July.

Police say Carreiro-Forbes was arrested on Wednesday.

He is charged with the murder of Douglas Carreiro , who was found dead in his Second Avenue home on August 21.

A secondary suspect, Justin Bearce, has been charged as an accessory to murder.
