FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - A Taunton woman has been sentenced to up to eight years in prison for a fatal drunken driving crash in which she was driving 113 miles per hour.

Colleen Ingemanson was convicted Wednesday in Fall River Superior Court of charges including manslaughter while driving drunk and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

Prosecutors say the 37-year-old woman was driving 113 miles per hour when she rear ended another vehicle on Route 140 in Taunton in July 2009.

A back seat passenger, 48-year-old Peter Colangelo, a married father of two, was killed.

Ingemanson then walked away from the scene and was found about a mile away. She has a lengthy record of driving violations.

The Taunton Daily Gazette reports that Ingemanson's lawyer said his client is remorseful.
