CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WPRI) – Several World War II veterans came together in Cumberland on Sunday to share their heroic stories.

The Cumberland Beagle Club invited combat veterans to tell their stories, reminisce and pass on the history to the next generation.

The club holds events like these to keep the oral history of WWII alive.
