WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- Woonsocket police have arrested a man for allegedly "sexting" a young teenager.
Police tell us that Dereck Daniel, 29, sent messages containing pictures of male genitalia to a 14-year-old girl.
The girl's mother found the messages while she was looking through her daughter's phone at the police station.
Daniel and the teenager were taken from his apartment to police headquarters at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
