PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The man accused in a deadly shooting outside a Woonsocket bank and his accused getaway driver were ordered held without bail following their arraignments at Providence District Court Tuesday morning.

Jason Pleau, 33, and Jose Santiago, 33, are facing charges of robbery and murder in the Sept. 20 shooting death of David Main.

Main, a manager at a nearby Shell gas station, was entering the Citizens Bank on Diamond Hill Rd. to make a deposit when he was gunned down during a robbery attempt.

A few days later, police arrested Pleau in New York and Santiago turned himself in to Woonsocket police.

Investigators announced the arrests last Friday. Both men were supposed to be processed at that time, but a mix-up at the ACI prevented the men from being transported to court.
