SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) -- Smithfield Police are trying to track down at least two suspects who stole a truck from one business, then used it to steal a plow from another business.

The thefts, first reported on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website , took place on the evening of Friday, November 23.

Police say one suspect was dropped off at Lamar and Sons, an air conditioning business in Smithfield, where he made off with a 2008 Ford stake body style truck.

Investigators believe the stolen truck was used to steal a Fisher eight-foot yellow "minute man" style plow off another truck at another nearby business.

Police are now looking for a two-toned gray or silver Ford Expedition EL that was captured on a surveillance camera dropping off one of the suspects at Lamar and Sons.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact Smithfield Police at 401-231-2500.
