PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- An unoccupied car has been pulled from the water in Pawtucket.

Police and fire crews responded to a boat launch off School Street shortly after 11 a.m. for a report of a car in the water.  Units from Cumberland also assisted but crews quickly determined that the car was abandoned.

The car was removed from the water and police are now trying to determine how and why it got there.
