NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police have concluded their investigation into a crash that killed a Woonsocket woman, and have issued charges against the man who caused it.
Jason Jerominek, 44, of Burrillville, was traveling on Route 146 at about 10 p.m. on Sept. 18 when he struck a pedestrian.
The victim, 29-year-old Jessica Gill, was confirmed dead the following day.
North Smithfield police tell us Jerominek has been charged with speeding, conditions requiring reduced speed, and due care by a driver.
