Cumberland store held up at gunpoint

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are investigating after a Cumberland business was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect showed a gun while demanding money from the clerk at the BC Petroleum and Convenience Store on  Mendon Road Tuesday night.

Nobody was injured in the ordeal.

Lincoln police tell us they're investigating whether the suspect could be the same man that robbed a Railroad Street liquor store Saturday night.
