CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (AP) -- Central Falls is holding another special election, and time is running out to register to vote.

The deadline to register for the March 26 election to fill the Ward 4 city council seat is Sunday. Registration forms must be received at the Board of Canvassers by 4 p.m.

Steven Corrales is running unopposed for the seat formerly held by James Diossa. Diossa was elected mayor in a December special election after the resignation of Charles Moreau, who agreed to plead guilty to a federal corruption charge.

Another special election was held last year for the council seat of Richard Aubin. He pleaded guilty to charges he sold two vehicles seized by city police during drug raids and pocketed $5,000 in proceeds.

Moreau got two years in prison. Aubin got probation.
