CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) - A flooded city hall is back open, but Eyewitness News has learned the clean-up will likely continue for several weeks.

Central Falls City Hall reopened Thursday morning, 3 days after a burst pipe caused significant flooding inside the building.

The Finance Department and Council Chambers will remain closed until at least March 1, because both areas require asbestos clean-up.

As a result of the damage, the Finance and Tax Assessor's offices have been temporarily moved to the third floor and all public hearings will be held at the highway department building on High Street.
