Water deemed safe in more water systems

Four boil water advisories lifted in South County

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Health officials have lifted four more boil water advisories in South County.

The Department of Health tells us that water is now safe for use and consumption at:

  • The Corner Deli in Charlestown
  • Charlestown Commons
  • South County Business Park in Exeter
  • Dunkin Donuts at 418 Kingston Road in Richmond

The boil water advisory was put into effect last week to avoid possible contamination in systems with little or no water pressure.

We're told the water systems operators have since corrected any issues with the water in those areas.
