NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) – The town North Kingstown has announced plans to sell off several vacant properties.

The most significant piece of property for sale is the former Wickford Elemetary School on Phillips St. in downtown Wickford. The 1920’s school sits on over six acres in the heart of historic Wickford Village.

The second property is the former Town highway garage located at 55 Oak Hill Rd. just south of Wickford off of Rt. 1.

The third property to be offered is located at 30 Reynolds St. in Wickford. This Victorian property is located directly behind the current Town Hall building acquired by the town in 1983. It was previously a single family home and was utilized for years as the Town’s IT center.

All three properties have been listed for sale and the Town is anxious to find new uses for these once vital Town buildings.
