NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island residents have another chance to talk up-close and personal to one of the Ocean State's U.S. Senators.
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse will host a community dinner at Narragansett High School, located at 245 South Pier Road, on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The free event is an opportunity for citizens to ask the senator questions and air concerns about the current state of Rhode Island.
The Democrat also plans to discuss the state of small business in Rhode Island and his push to implement the "Buffet Rule," which seeks to have wealthy Americans pay their fare share of taxes.
RSVP's are not required, and the event is first come, first served. For more information visit the Senator's website or call (401)-453-5294.
