NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI) - Crews are investigating an overnight fire at a business on State Street in Galilee. The fire started at a fish processing plant just before 1 a.m. Monday.

When firefighters arrived they found the fire contained to the back office area. They were able to control the flames and put out the fire within 45 minutes.

No one was inside at the time of the fire. Officials said the cause was electric, and the damage wasn't too severe.

"There will be a delay this morning, the sprinkler system did its job, it activated and there is considerable water damage throughout. So, there going to be cleaning up water for awhile," said Capt. Peter Taylor.

The business did re-open later in the morning.
