WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- A suspected heroin dealer is charged with allegedly selling drugs in two Rhode Island communities.

51-year-old Anthony Evans of West Warwick was arrested last Friday following a five-month investigation involving multiple police departments.

He is accused of dealing heroin in both West Warwick and Warwick.

Police say Evans has a history of drug-related charges.

He was ordered held without bail during a court appearance on January 19.
