WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- Warwick police are attempting to identify a male suspect in connection with a weekend robbery.
The man is accused of robbing the Walgreen's Pharmacy located at 1560 Warwick Ave. on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the suspect approached the pharmacy counter and passed an employee a note that indicated he was robbing the business and that he was armed.
The pharmacist gave the man a bag full of undetermined prescription pills. He then fled the store and was seen heading north on Warwick Avenue.
The suspect is described as being in his forties, standing approximately 6 feet tall, and was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, a baseball hat and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
