Robber takes drugs from Warwick store

Man with gun robs Rite-Aid Friday night

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- Warwick Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday night.

Police tell Eyewitness News that shortly before 9 p.m. a white man with a gun walked into the Rite-Aid at 2595 West Shore Road.  He stole drugs from the pharmacy and escaped.

No other details about the robbery were immediately available but police said no arrests had been made as of Saturday morning.
