WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - Hundreds of people lined up in Warwick Saturday for a chance to have some of their hidden treasures appraised by the experts.

Rhode Island's PBS affiliate, WSBE, hosted a taping of an antiques appraisal show.  Participants were charged a fee to have their items appraised, and the money raised goes to help the station, which could stand to lose one-third of its funding due to budget cuts.

Fine art, silver, furniture, and everything in between was on display.

One Barrington man brought a map dating back to the 1800s which detailed plans to rebuild firehouses after a massive fire in the city.

Michael Pichie brought what might have been the find of the show - a ticket for the luxury liner Titanic, which sank with a tremendous loss of life back in 1912.

The program which was being recorded will air sometime this spring or summer.
