CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – The body of an unidentified woman was discovered at 391 Farmington Ave. in Cranston on Friday.

According to reports, the body was found inside the garage at the back of the house around 8:30 p.m. after neighbors in the house next door complained of a foul odor.

Residents from across the street tell Eyewitness News that police were at the scene for several hours and the medical examiner came and took the body after midnight,

The residents in the area say they do not know who the woman is, and that the neighbors who first reported the odor have since moved out.
