WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - T.F. Green Airport has several flights leaving for Indianapolis Friday. It's expected to the big travel leading up to Sunday's Super Bowl.
Hundreds of New England fans are expected to fly out over the new two days.
There are no direct flights from Providence to Indianapolis on a regular basis. But, Southwest Airlines has added one to the schedule that leaves Friday at 5 p.m and returns on Monday.
Travelers leaving Providence will join some 20,000 expected to fly in to the host city for the Super Bowl.
The first flight was scheduled to leave at 6:55 a.m.
