CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Traffic is back to normal on city roads in Cranston.

Fletcher Avenue reopened February 28 after it was closed overnight due to flooding.

At least one car was stranded in the flood waters early in the morning.

Fletcher Avenue, which sits right off of the Pocasset River, is known for being one of the first city roads to flood in the event of heavy rainfall.
