CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The inmate who police say escaped the ACI by impersonating another prisoner is due back in court.
Nayquan Gadson was captured in Brooklyn, N.Y. after his accidental release on July 27.
He reportedly impersonated another man in the prison who was up for bail. Investigators say Gadson and the inmate he impersonated hatched the scheme together.
Gadson was originally jailed for first-degree robbery and firearms charges.
