Newport fire under investigation
Flames broke out on multi-family home

NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) - Firefighters in Newport are investigating a late-night fire.
Crews were called to a multi-family house on Ayrault Street shortly after 10:30 Tuesday night.
Upon arrival, firefighters could see flames coming from the deck of the third floor.
Crews were able to knock down the flames quickly.
Everyone inside the home escaped safely, and no injuries were reported. All of the occupants were allowed back inside the home.
