Middletown to test notification system

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WPRI) - The town of Middletown will test its Code Red Emergency Notification System on Wednesday.
The entire community will be called starting at 10 a.m.
This gives the town's emergency service personnel the chance to operate the system as if there's been a community wide disaster.
The police department is encouraging all residents and business owners to visit the town's website to make sure their contact information is up to date.
