Police seek to ID credit car theft suspect

Broke into parked car at town beach

JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Jamestown Police Department is reaching out to the public in hopes to identify a man using a stolen credit card.

Police believe the suspect broke the passenger-side window of a parked vehicle at the Jamestown Beach parking area on July 4 and made off with several items, including credit cards.

The stolen cards have been used in the Warwick area, including at the Lowe's on Greenwich Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact Jamestown police at (401) 423-1212 ex. 1018.
