BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) -- Crews in Bristol are investigating a house fire that started early Tuesday morning.

A firefighter told Eyewitness News flames took over a vacant home on Smith Street around 5 a.m.

According to officials, there was live ammunition in the house at the time, but they were able to knock down the flames before it set off any of the ammo.

No injuries were reported.
