PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - UPDATE 10:45 p.m. Rhode Island State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for 13-year-old Joyce Liberty.

Police have confirmed that she has been found safe.

She was located inside the Providence Place Mall.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Liberty on Wednesday afternoon after she was last seen Tuesday at 2 p.m. at 127 Tell Street in Providence and was thought to be in danger.

Officials say threatening text messages were sent from Liberty's cell phone to members of her family.

State Police are questioning Liberty at this time.
