Bay View Academy briefly evacuated

EAST PROVIDENCE R.I. (WPRI) – A local school was briefly evacuated Thursday after reports of a gas leak.

The Bay View Academy was evacuated as precaution after an odor of natural gas was reported just after 10:00AM.

After a short period of time everyone was allowed back inside.

It is not known was caused the gas odor.
