PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Travel and Leisure magazine says Providence is the best burger city in the United States.

Readers were asked to rate 35 major metropolitan areas, and the capital city finished first.

The magazine says Providence offers both classic and creative burgers, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.

It highlighted Harry's Bar and Burger on North Main Street, where you can wash down 100% Hereford beef sliders with spiked milkshakes.
