'Restaurant Weeks' event kicks off in Providence

7th annual celebration runs through July 21

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – This weekend marked the beginning of a two-week-long celebration in Providence.

More then 100 restaurants participated in the 7th Annual "Providence Restaurant Weeks".

Those participating in the event are offered three-course lunches and dinners at special fixed prices during the event, which runs through July 21.
