Blood Center launches t-shirt contest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Rhode Island Blood Center is holding a contest to design a new  t-shirt that will honor teenage blood donors across the state.

Student artists of all ages are encouraged to send their design to the Rhode Island Blood Center by March 15,  either online or through the mail.

The winning entry will be printed on t-shirts that are awarded to all Rhode Island high schoolers who donate blood three times a year. 

In addition to seeing his or her design on t-shirts worn across the state, the winning artist will also receive a 16GB iPod Nano.
