PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Providence fire officials are investigating a house fire that sent a family of five out into the cold.
Flames broke out at about 3:30 a.m. in a home on Camp Street.
Investigators say the fire started in a second-floor bathroom and spread to the third floor.
All five people were inside the home at the time, but were able to get out safely.
The house sustained considerable damage and the Red Cross has been called in to assist the residents.
