PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence's pizza is the 2nd best in the country, according to Travel + Leisure .

This is the second year in a row that the capital city has earned the silver medal.

It gets credit for offering an only-in-Providence pie - grilled pizza. The magazine recommends sampling the fare at Bacaro where the chef is from Al Forno - home of the original grilled pizza.

Travel + Leisure also highlights another local favorite - pizza strips. Topped with just sauce, you can find these at LaSalle Bakery.

Chicago earned the top spot for offering a diversity of pizza styles, including its famous deep dish.
