PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Level II will remain closed as it appeals the loss of it's liquor license.

The Department of Business Regulation rejected a request from the Providence nightclub to open it's doors while it's appeal is being heard.

An early Easter morning melee broke out inside the nightclub which spilled out into the street.

During the fight, 6 people were stabbed and 7 people have been charged in connection with the violent outbreak.

The Providence Board of Licenses found the club to be a danger to public safety.
