NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WPRI)- Massachusetts State Police are investigating after a deadly single car crash.

The crash happened around 12:30 Sunday morning on Route 140 in New Bedford.

According to police, the Nissan 350Z was traveling north when it left the road, rolled over and went through the median.

The passenger of the car, an adult male,was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was taken to Rhode Island Hospital via medical helicopter with serious injuries.

Their identities have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
