Garage fire under investigation
Crews were able to stop fire from spreading

NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WPRI)- Fire crews are investigating after a garage fire at an occupied home.
The fire started around three Thursday morning at a home on North Front Street.
According to fire officials, the fire started in a vehicle in the garage.
Crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to the attached home, but the vehicle and garage itself sustained heavy damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
