FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) – Police arrested 101 people over the weekend during the country music festival at Gillette Stadium.
Police say most of the arrests made on Friday and Saturday night were for minors in possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, trespassing, assault and battery, and assault and battery on a police officer.
One person was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, while another was arrested for drug possession.
The ages of those arrested ranged from teenagers to those in their 50’s.
The two day event drew more than 110,000 fans to the annual music festival.
Those country music stars that headlined the festival included Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw.
Foxboro Police say they have tried to crack down on rowdiness at stadium events in recent years.
