Officials investigate fire in 2 story building

NEW BEDFORD MASS. (WPRI) – The New Bedford fire department is investigating a fire that broke out in a two story building Friday night.

Officials were called to the scene of a fire at 176 Harwich St. around 8:00PM Friday night.

Two ladder trucks and three engines responded to the scene.

Officials were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
