Mass. man contracts rare tick disease

NANTUCKET, Mass. (WPRI) - A Nantucket man has been infected with a new tick-borne disease.

Yale scientists say at least 18 people in southern New England and New York have come down with the disease, that is so new, it doesn't have a name yet.

Doctors say patients with the new illness are treated with the same antibiotics used to treat Lyme Disease.
